Seeing them having fun, in hand, bursting out laughing at a completely missed pass, applauding a teammate's perfect free throw, you'd almost think you were watching a classic sporting event. Except that the approximately 140 participants in shorts and jerseys gathered on Thursday October 10, at the Nelson-Mandela gymnasium, on the left bank of , have a little something extra. They are not there just to play at shaking the nets: they all have a disability, visible or not, but above all, they are all actively looking for work.

Among the dozen teams formed were mingled, incognito, around twenty recruiters from both the public and private sectors, also in sports attire. Amaury, Dominique, Nadia, Lucie, Cyril, Gilbert, Elie… Who is a recruiter, who is a job seeker? With the only indication being a first name written on their chasuble, the boundaries become blurred, and it is not easy to differentiate them with certainty.

Practicing sport together in the morning, without distinction, always sharing lunch anonymously, before revealing everyone's identity in the afternoon, sometimes to everyone's surprise, and launching into recruitment interviews in the heart of the gymnasium : there lies the originality of this job dating disabled sports version, designed to break down barriers and go beyond appearances. A current issue, despite the beautiful spotlight on athletes at the Paralympic Games in the summer of 2024.

“Humans at the heart of recruitment”

« The idea is to offer companies the opportunity to recruit differently, by revealing the interpersonal skills of candidates through sporting activities. With a CV, you can miss someone. Here, people are at the heart of recruitment.
