Raising children is a difficult responsibility that requires great effort from parents, who bear the burden of raising normal children who bear responsibility and face the pressures of life, especially male children who represent future men.
In the context of celebrating International Men’s Day, which falls today, Dr. Safaa Hamouda, Professor of Psychiatry, spoke about the roles and responsibilities imposed on men, as they have guardianship within the family, explaining that men must be responsible and have the ability to self-control, as well as He must participate with others and cooperate with them, and not be independent and selfish and put his interests above everything else, commenting: “These are the qualities that characterize the man we hope to have.”
Raising good men
Hamouda added, during her interview on Channel 1 and the Egyptian satellite channel, that there is a responsibility that falls on the family, which is how to raise children to be good men who respect women by exchanging roles within the home and not placing responsibility on the woman only, noting that the more the father respects his wife and does not He insults her, the children grow up with the moral values they see at home, and thus they become good men within the family.
The importance of raising children to take responsibility
Hamouda advised parents to raise their children to bear responsibility, to be equal between boys and girls, and not to prefer one over the other.
