Rainer Maria Salzgeber has a long connection with the Swiss national team: the now 55-year-old was seen around the national team on SRF for a good 28 years. The Valais native made his first appearance in the opening game at the 1996 European Championships. Almost three decades later, he is now drawing a line in the sand.
