After a total of 28 years around the Swiss national team on SRF, Rainer Maria Salzgeber is saying goodbye. The national team bids an emotional farewell.

Rainer Maria Salzgeber has a long connection with the Swiss national team: the now 55-year-old was seen around the national team on SRF for a good 28 years. The Valais native made his first appearance in the opening game at the 1996 European Championships. Almost three decades later, he is now drawing a line in the sand.

And there is also a warm farewell from the second reliable SRF voice around the national team: Sascha Ruefer also says goodbye to his colleague in the studio in his moderation. It gets a little emotional on both sides of the line.
