The Most Precious of Goods
History
In the coldest of winter, in the Polish countryside, a very poor lumberjack saves a baby who fell from a train. He's a heartless person, a category of people the state prohibits from protecting. Her husband orders her to get rid of it, but the woman wants to keep it, even if it means disobeying the law.

– Delicacy and poetry: the word “Jew” is never pronounced, but this film is about the massacre of these people during the Second World War (1939-1945). Human barbarity is mentioned, but never shown. The director prefers to highlight solidarity and love. But be careful, some scenes may seem a little harsh to the youngest among you.
– The images: the characters, with expressive round eyes, are drawn with great simplicity. Nature, for its part, is splendid and changes appearance with the seasons. The animation makes this very dark story more bearable, but which moves towards the light. Simply overwhelming.
Ellian and the spell

– The magic, the gags and the musical pieces: all these ingredients dear to the Disney studios mix joyfully in this animated film whose humor also recalls Shrek. A joy!
– Emotion: the story is full of adventure and populated by bizarre creatures, such as flying cats. But it also addresses a deeper topic: the suffering of children whose parents are constantly arguing. To enjoy with the family.
