The end of year celebrations are being prepared in the bastide. “In view of the experiences of previous years, the municipality has decided to stagger its activities over several weeks, starting on Wednesday November 20. Municipal services built the festival program in partnership with local stakeholders: associations, traders, communities, explains Claire Lebrun, director of the entertainment department. »

From November 20 to December 24, Santa's mailbox will be in place in front of the town hall and the Foyans elves will personally respond to each letter, provided that the children have noted their contact details. The photo head pass will also be positioned nearby. Free of charge, the ice rink is located on the town hall square, and open on Wednesdays and weekends until 1is December included. While skates and helmets are provided, you should however bring gloves. Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain under their responsibility.

Several local associations will be offering cakes, drinks and small Christmas items for sale. On Friday, November 29, at 7 p.m., the illuminations will be inaugurated with the Atelier 104 choir, and will launch the big game allowing you to win 3,000 euros in “Smart Christmas, Buy Foyen” gift vouchers, offered by the municipality, the Carte Maline and the Pays Foyen Business Club (CEPF). The program naturally continues in December: various activities are organized every weekend, in addition to Wednesday December 18, a day traditionally dedicated to children.

The 1is December will mark the last day the rink will be open. To close this original event, the town will host the brand new show by the company Les Astres Songeurs “Falala chante Noël”, a theatrical concert with a giant puppet wandering around at 3:30 p.m.
