If Belgium does not lose to Israel by more than two goals on Sunday, it will play play-off matches for retention in Division A of the Nations League. The Red Devils already have two possible opponents.

The Red Devils will have four possible opponents. Two of these are currently already known after the results in the Nations League earlier in the day.

This way, Belgium can play against Greece and Austria. Greece visited Finland on Sunday and won 0-2. It did what it had to, but still finished second in group 2. Tzolis (Club Brugge) scored the second goal.

England has the same number of points (15), but has a better goal difference in mutual matches. The English beat Ireland 5-0.

Austria was defeated by Slovenia. They were heading for a group win in group 3, but the Slovenians equalized at the end of the match (1-1).

Norway therefore has a group win in its pocket. Belgium certainly avoids Erling Haaland, who scored a hat-trick in the 5-0 win against Kazakhstan. On Tuesday it will become clear which teams will finish second in groups 1 and 4, and can therefore also play against the Red Devils. The draw will take place next Friday.
