It is in the portrait of Audrey Crespo-Mara from “Sept à quatre” on TF1 that the 22-year-old young man returned to his ascent of Everest, recounted in the documentary Kaizenfrom which he learned valuable lessons.

“Starting a family is an Everest. Become a painter, write a book… To each their own Everest”. This adage Inoxtag applied it literally. After a year of expeditions training in the mountains, the 22-year-old YouTuber left for two months to climb the highest peak in the world. An adventure recounted in the documentary Kaizen . A success, a phenomenon. 35 million views on YouTube, 350,000 spectators in a single session in cinemas and then broadcast on TF1, as well as on the TF1+ platform.

“This power of having a community is also a way of being able to transmit messages”assures the young man Audrey Crespo-Mara in “Seven to Eight”, this Sunday, November 17. “We leave without a screen or telephone. I just took a chess set, a book to learn to play chess and 120 mangas, on a small Kindle e-reader.explains Inoxtag. A challenge for someone who has been used to filming himself since the age of 11.

I kind of miss spending a lot of time on YouTube.

“Already, we had to climb Everest and we also had to disconnect”he quips before explaining his approach: “The telephone is a means of entertainment. Read the comments, look at the messages… I wanted to live this adventure 100% for once and so I left the phone too to really feel this climb, feel all the emotions, concentrate on my goal”.

When Inoxtag reaches the top, he bursts into tears, filled with “a feeling of accomplishment”. This disconnection “did good”. “I kind of regret spending a lot of time on YouTube, on projects and not spending enough time with my parents. We only have one family and life goes by quickly”he says. From this extraordinary adventure, he draws a lesson and wants to share it with TF1 viewers: “get moving, small steps by small steps”.
