French referee François Letexier will be in the spotlight this Sunday evening during the Nations League match between Italy and France. The Breton will be rewarded following his great Euro 2024.
There will be at least one French victory this evening. François Letexier, well-known Ligue 1 referee, will receive this Sunday, November 17, during the pre-match of the Nations League match between Italy and France, a reward after his great Euro last summer. The one who is also a justice commissioner in parallel with his profession as a referee was in fact named best referee of Euro 2024, of which he notably refereed the final between Spain and England (2-1). He is the first French referee to officiate during a Euro final since Michel Vautrot in 1988.
