Initial Observations

  • Germany just crushed it…what can you say?
  • Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala together is crazy…and they are making Kai Havertz better, too.
  • There was nothing really bad to say about anything. Julian Nagelsmann is doing fantastic.

Halftime Observations

  • Germany is dominating in every way.
  • The attack just looks creative, in-sync, and relentless with 14 shots total (seven on target).
  • With Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz on the pitch, it always just feels like a matter of time for Germany.
  • You would be hard-pressed to complain about much at this point. Julian Nagelsmann is just pushing all of the right buttons with this team.

Halftime: As we head into the break, it’s Germany leading 3-0.

45’: Oliver Baumann made a nice save to keep Bosnia and Herzegovina off the scoreboard.

37’: Germany is just crushing Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kai Havertz added Germany’s latest goal after a terrific combination with Florian Wirtz.

23’: Tim Kleindienst has put Germany up 2-0. Robert Andrich assisted on the goal.

2’: Well…that didn’t take long. Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala scores (another header) on an assist from club teammate Joshua Kimmich.

1’: Off we go!

The year has been pretty good for the German national team, all things considered. No major catastrophes, a solid Euros campaign, and no coaches were fired. It certainly blows 2023 out of the water, at least.

Now, with just one final international break left, can Julian Nagelsmann close out the year with a couple of wins? First up, a home game vs Bosnia and Herzegovina. With the likes of Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala back in the lineup, let’s see how they fare.
