Private preserve : When Didier Bourdon replays the good and the bad hunter
Remember, in 1991, Didier Bourdon already played a funny hunter in a sketch with his friends Pascal Légitimus and Bernard Campan. A cult sequence that notably inspired Antonin Fourlon and Frédéric Forestier for their comedy. However, Didier Bourdon wanted to move away somewhat from his cult performance to Private preserveas he revealed in the film's press kit: “I wanted to distance myself from it, I wanted the film to be more in line with what this sketch was. There are not only good hunters but there are not only bad hunters either. Everything is a matter of good practice.” However, certain characters may have had traits in common with those in the Inconnus sketch: “I found that it came at the right time with the presence of this hunter who kills without limits of game that we commonly call a meatman. It was also a way of showing the difference between our group of hunters who are not completely white-white but for who this practice is above all a social bond and those who eliminate without respecting anything.”
