Mentissa replaces Thierry Cham at short notice
Unable to be present, Thierry Cham had to find a last minute replacement: “So I thought of someone, this artist agreed to play the game.“The lucky one is none other than Mentissa, revealed in The Voice 10 where she reached the final.
It was therefore with the young singer that Ebony performed “Petite Marie” by Francis Cabrel. A choice that delighted the candidate: “It touches me a lot, I'm so happy, I fell in love with her the first time I saw her on TV.“The very moving duo won over the audience.
Ebony: “I love you daddy!”
Despite the great performance with Mentissa, Ebony did not hide her disappointment at not having been able to share this unique moment with her father. In tears after her performance, she declared on camera: “I love you dad !”.
The young woman was visibly moved to know that despite the distance, her father had done everything to surprise her by contacting Mentissa. Ebony also had a word for her mother, present in the audience, to whom she said:cuckoo” et “i love you“.
