Romelu Lukaku passes for the match against Israel, 4 other Red Devils also cancel
The Red Devils are missing no fewer than 5 players for Sunday evening’s Nations League match against Israel. Romelu Lukaku is the biggest name to drop out with an injury. Amadou Onana, Maxim De Cuyper, Romeo Lavia and Arthur Theate also did not travel.
The Red Devils fly to Hungary this afternoon where they will play Israel in the UEFA Nations League.
National coach Domenico Tedesco will have to figure things out during the trip. Romelu Lukaku, Amadou Onana, Maxim De Cuyper, Romeo Lavia and Arthur Theate have not boarded. The three international players drop out with injuries.
This morning during training at the national training center, the national selection was already incomplete. Promising and Coventry striker Norman Bassette (ex-KV Mechelen) was allowed to train as a replacement.

The Red Devils will miss no fewer than 4 basic players tomorrow compared to the international match against Italy. Romelu Lukaku, Amadou Onana, Maxim De Cuyper and Arthur Theate all started the match in Brussels.
Lukaku’s comeback was short-lived. On Thursday he played his first match for the national team since the European Championship. The strong striker could not prevent Belgium from losing 0-1 to Italy.
