For six years, Julie has flourished in her warm and friendly space, called Le Local, located in the heart of rue de la Cité in Troyes. Initially shared with a designer friend, she has now been flying solo for two years, while continuing to promote her unique universe.
In this bright and welcoming boutique, she highlights not only her own creations, but also those of other artists and illustrators whose universe resonates with hers. The Local is full of gems: ceramics, jewelry, leather goods (including the famous ultra-trendy bananas), accessories (brooches, pins, socks, etc.), cards (postcards, illustrations, etc.), and even a small selection of second-hand clothes hand, always imbued with bright colors and style.

A favorite selection
But how does it select its artists and products? Thanks to Instagram, where she is particularly active. A true enthusiast, she wanders through the accounts, captures the moods and, according to her favorites, contacts the creators who inspire her to collaborate with them. Its projects sometimes include original capsule collections, such as creations on tennis rackets, ideal for unique and singular decoration.
Recently, she renewed a sparkling collaboration with Taxi Brousse, an illustrator full of vitality. It's hard to resist this kind of project, led by personalities overflowing with ideas and energy!
A local and committed touch
She also offers creative workshops to share her passion and enrich her space. This Saturday, for example, she welcomes Rug3, a talented artist from Troyes, for a tufting workshop (in fact, there are still a few places left!).
Always attentive to promoting the talents of her region, she recently highlighted The Pink Artist, a perfume imagined by two natives of Troyes.
