The Curious Orchestra: a unique artistic exploration
The Orchester Curieux stands out for its ability to shake up the traditional codes of classical music. Made up of fifteen young musicians, mainly Parisians, this ensemble offers performances that are out of the ordinary, marked by a theatrical and immersive approach. Daniel Sicard, the conductor and artistic director, explains that the orchestra seeks to arouse curiosity and surprise its audience with concerts where the musical interpretation is enriched with visual and participatory elements. The group has notably played at the foot of glaciers to raise awareness about their protection, and regularly collaborates with artists from other genres such as rappers and electro DJs.
