The three children, from a blended family, were found dead Tuesday afternoon.
According to several corroborating sources, the mother suspected of the stabbing murder of her three children in Taninges (Haute-Savoie), was found dead in Switzerland. Le Dauphiné Libéré indicates that the Haute-Savoie public prosecutor's office is refusing any comment for the moment, simply announcing that a “press release will be issued in the afternoon”.
The lifeless body of the mother, of Franco-Swiss nationality, was reportedly found in her vehicle.
The search continued this Wednesday, November 13 to find this 45-year-old teacher described as depressed, with the mobilization of around sixty members of the police. She taught in a primary school in a village near Taninges.
Two boys aged 2 and 11 and a girl aged 13
The three children of a blended family living in Taninges, two boys aged 2 and 11 and a girl aged 13, were found dead on Tuesday afternoon.
They showed traces of a bladed weapon. Autopsies and additional expertise must be carried out by the Grenoble Medico-Legal Institute (IML).
A blatant investigation for “voluntary homicides” has been opened, said Bonneville prosecutor Boris Duffau. “The investigation continues to determine the exact circumstances of the commission of the facts,” he added. The mother would have left a letter then taken the direction of the massifs surrounding Taninges. Our colleagues report that it was the grandparents who made the macabre discovery, surprised not to have seen the children at lunchtime.
