On November 13, 2015, terrorist attacks cost the lives of 92 people in this concert hall in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. A minute of silence was observed and wreaths of flowers were placed in front of its entrance. Michel Barnier and Anne Hidalgo then went to meet the survivors of the attack and their loved ones.
Earlier in the morning, the mayor of Paris had also paid tribute to the victims in front of the Stade de France in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis), in front of the bar Le Carillon and the restaurant Le Petit Cambodge, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, whose terraces had been targeted by terrorists.
“Engraved in our memories”
Another time of tribute and remembrance was held at the town hall of the 11th arrondissement. An “intimate” ceremony, organized by associations of victims of the November 13 attacks.
“We will never forget”, wrote Emmanuel Macron on X, ensuring that November 13 remains “engraved in our memories in letters of pain”. The president paid tribute “to the victims, to the families, to those who gave everything to preserve life”.
