The brunch proposed by the Festi'Céou team brought together around sixty people on Sunday November 10 who unanimously highlighted the quality of the homemade food. Indeed, pancakes, scrambled eggs and assortment of cold cuts with bacon as well as a delicious fruit salad caused a sensation!
This original idea was followed by an equally unique show, offered on the eve of the commemoration of the armistice by Coko and Danito who form the shock duo “Le Cri des poilus”. They revisited the register of post-war songs by singing La Madelon but also lesser-known titles which have been discovered.
The next day, public holiday Monday, a day of national contemplation, the RPI children met in front of the church where they read a text worked on in class with Carole, their teacher. They then took turns sticking a dove, a symbol of peace, next to the church on the stele erected in memory of the missing.
It was Michel Faivre, 3rd deputy, who read the text received from the Ministry of the Armed Forces before a drink was offered by the municipality to thank the many participants who came to celebrate this time of contemplation.
