Ian Maatsen (Aston Villa) and Calvin Raatsie (Excelsior) are out of the Dutch Juniors due to injuries. Earlier in the day, Driouech also dropped out. Three replacements have been called in.
These are Lennard Hartjes from Excelsior and Denso Kasius (AZ) born in Delft Dani van den Heuvel (photo) (goalkeeper of Club Brugge). Kasius plays in the youth teams of DHC and ADO Den Haag, among others. Dani van den Heuvel also started in Delft, at Wippolder and also in the youth of ADO Den Haag. Van den Heuvel has so far kept one match in the Dutch Juniors and Kasius has already played four international matches in the Dutch Juniors.
The Dutch Juniors go to Slovakia and Almere
The Dutch Juniors will play a practice match against Young England on Monday, November 18. The match will be played in the Yanmar Stadium of Almere City FC. The kick-off of this match is at 6:45 PM.
Slovakia
First, the Dutch Juniors will play a practice match in and against Slovakia. Michael Reiziger’s team is now visiting the country where the final tournament is being organised. The match against Slovakia will be played on Thursday, November 14 and starts at 5:30 PM in the MŠK Žilina Stadium, one of the playing locations of the European Championship 2025.
