The facts reported by France Bleu date back to Friday November 8. The RN deputy for Var Laure Lavalette arrived a little late for her meeting with Minister Catherine Vautrin.
The reason? His car had just been “burgled”, like the dozen other vehicles targeted by a man who visited them one after the other.
Two police officers injured
It was a call from local residents that alerted the anti-crime squad. In the area for a surveillance mission, the police then saw a man getting into a car parked near the Mourillon beaches.
When they reached him, they saw the man searching the passenger compartment of the car. The last in a long list but verifications made, this one belonged to Laure Lavalette, RN deputy.
During his arrest, the man rebelled and injured two police officers. According to our colleagues, the man is an Algerian national in an irregular situation, subject to an obligation to leave the territory. He was forbidden to return to France. The latter was placed in pre-trial detention.
