Continuation of the 11th day of Liga Portugal this Sunday evening. Sporting CP traveled to the Estádio Municipal de Braga pitch to face Braga. On the one hand, the Arcebispos wanted to stock up on points against a direct opponent to get closer to the top 3. On the other hand, the Leões wanted to offer a luxurious outing to their coach Rúben Amorim before his departure for Manchester United. During a dominated game, Sporting made short work of the locals in the evening (2-4) with achievements by Hidemasa Morita (58th), Morten Hjulmand (81st) and Conrad Harder (89th, 90th+ 4). Ricardo Horta, however, did his best to guide Braga (20th, 45th).

In the ranking, Sporting CP widens the gap on the podium with this 1st place, while Braga remains in a good position in 5th position. After the international break, the Leões will host Amarante, while the Arcebispos will travel to Vila das Aves to face the AVS Futebol SAD club, during the 13th day of the Portuguese championship. Rúben Amorim therefore leaves a perfectly oiled machine by leaving the club in a very nice way.
