On February 10, 2023, on a road in Seine-et-Marne, comedian Pierre Palmade had a serious car accident. In this traffic accident, another car was hit, on board a man, his 6-year-old son and his 6-month-old pregnant sister-in-law, who lost her baby. A year and a half after the accident, on the occasion of the actor's trial which will begin on November 20, the father of the family, Yuksel Yakut, spoke about his state of health and that of his son in the show Seven to Eighton TF1this Sunday, November 10, 2024. They were both seriously injured. His son, Devrim, in addition to having physical after-effects, suffers from psychological after-effects.
“My son is not doing well at all”, revealed Yuksel Yakut to the cameras of TF1. The little boy “doesn't want to go outside anymore”. On the one hand, he suffers physically. His father said: “Because of the scars on his head, he is in constant pain. It cannot tolerate the sun or the cold.” Since the accident, his son has “plaques in the mouth”, which causes him difficulty in eating. “When he eats, his jaws get tired very quickly”, explained the father. On the other hand, the little boy who was only 6 years old at the time of the accident has psychological after-effects. “He had to repeat his CE1 class”, revealed his father. Before confiding: “The teachers explained to me that he has panic attacks and can no longer concentrate.”

“I have such intense pain”, the state of health of the father of the family still at its lowest
Yuksel Yakut is having as much difficulty as his son recovering from the accident. The father of the family was operated on “stomach, shoulders, legs, feet”. And the doctors had warned him that he would have after-effects. Today he is in pain and his whole body hurts. “I have such intense pain that I'm exhausted and feel like my brain is going to explode.”, he admitted in Seven to Eight. He described losing feeling in three fingers and having difficulty performing simple everyday tasks, such as bathing or walking. “When I walk, the patches I have in my legs cause me a lot of pain”, confided Yuksel Yakut. Before adding, tested by the situation: “Even to wash myself and walk, I have to ask my loved ones for help.”
