This cold drop comes to us from Germany. It plunges towards the Mediterranean and Spain while passing through France. Under its influence, the weather promises to be unstable with a few showers, wind in the Mediterranean and snow in the mid-mountains. To the north, due to the lifting of the north wind, the gray weather will be less persistent and we can hope for some clearings.
A calm, but very gray November 11
In 2/3 of the country, this public holiday takes place under gray weather with a few drops in the Grand Est. The clearings are more generous in the east and southwest as well as near the Channel in the afternoon which finds some clearings. Near the Mediterranean, Mistral and the Tramontana rise under the sun.
Start of weather change Tuesday with rain in the east
The anticyclone will retreat towards the Atlantic under the pressure of a cold drop which will plunge from Germany towards Spain. It will bring showers in the east, stormy rain in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and violent winds in the Massif Central. In the north, it will be the end of the tunnel of gray with the return of some clearing thanks to the lifting of the north wind which will cool the atmosphere.
Wednesday, cooling with rain in the south and clearings in the north
The influence of the cold drop will be felt in the southwest of the country with rains. In the Pyrénées-Orientales, this precipitation could take on a stormy character. It will snow from 1200 meters in the mountains. From the north to the center of the country, the weather will be calm with some clearings. Small showers will water the Channel coasts.
A calm and cool weekend, except in the southeast
Temperatures will continue to drop below seasonal averages. The weather is expected to be variable over most of the country. It is near the Mediterranean that conditions will be the most gloomy with rain coming from Spain, which could take on a stormy character in Languedoc-Roussillon.
