This Friday, November 8, 2024, Alain Delon posted a new photo on his Instagram account, in story. On it, he reveals Loubo, Alain Delon's dog, still faithful to Douchy, two months after the actor's death.

Alain Delon had always spoken of his Belgian shepherd Loubo with deep affection, considering him as a “end-of-life dog”, a precious companion whom he loved “like a child”, in his own words in “ Match” a few months before his death. The bond between them was unbreakable, and the actor had clearly indicated that he would not replace Loubo if the latter died before him. “I wouldn’t take any more,” he declared, attached to this faithful four-legged friend.

However, fate decided otherwise, and Loubo survived his master. After the death of Alain Delon on August 18, a controversy arose concerning the future of the animal. Indeed, the actor confided that he wanted the dog to leave with him, which had annoyed fervent defenders of the animal cause. Fortunately, this delicate question found a solution, and Loubo continues to lead his life with the Delon family.

Loubo keeps an eye on things

On Friday November 8, 2024, Anthony Delon shared in a story on Instagram a tender publication where we see Loubo, faithful as always, monitoring the surroundings of the Douchy property, a place dear to the heart of his master. This is not the first time that Alain Delon's eldest son has shared photos of Loubo watching over the estate, but this one has special meaning. To accompany the image, Anthony Delon chose the song “Now I know” by Jean Gabin, a poignant wink which testifies to the fact that Loubo has now understood that his master has left. A simple red heart placed under the photo symbolizes the son's affection towards the animal who shared so many moments with his father.
