This Monday, November 11, 2024 is a public holiday to commemorate the armistice of the First World War. In Toulouse, many services will not be accessible and certain businesses will remain closed.

Some open swimming pools

Some Toulouse swimming pools will be open this Monday, November 11, 2024. Here is the list:

  • pool Winter Nakache : 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • pool Alex Jany : 12 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • pool Toulouse-Lautrec : 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • pool Buttocks : 12 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

The Alex Jany ice rink will also be open, from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Administrative services all or almost all closed

All banks in the Pink City will be closed, like every Monday.

The civil status service in the city center is closed, an office is available for death declarations at 2 rue de l'abbé Jules Lemire from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. All other administrative services of the town hall and the metropolis are closed.

Only one recycling center open

Waste collection is ensured as usual. On the other hand, the recycling centers in Toulouse are closed, in the metropolis only that of is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On the retail side, shops usually closed on Monday will of course not open their doors. Some will open for a shorter time than other days, such as Fnac Wilson which will open at 11 a.m. (instead of the usual 10) and until 7:30 p.m.

In shopping centers

  • The shopping center of Blagnac will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Leclerc hypermarket will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The gallery of Saint-Orens shopping center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Leclerc hypermarket will welcome customers from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • The gallery Espace Fenouillet will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Auchan hypermarket will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The shopping center Carrefour Purpan will be open, the Carrefour hypermarket will welcome customers from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The gallery The Saint-Georges Boutiquesin downtown Toulouse will be closed but the supermarket will be open.
  • The shopping gallery Reflections-Compans will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Carrefour Market will receive customers from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • The shops in the shopping center Roques are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Leclerc supermarket will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • The shops of Portet-sur-Garonne shopping center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Carrefour hypermarket will welcome customers from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • The shops of Labège 2 shopping center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Carrefour hypermarket will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Rouffiac-Tolosan shopping center will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Leclerc open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Large DIY stores

The stores Castorama from Portet-sur-Garonne, Saint-Orens, Blagnac and L'Union will welcome customers from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The stores Leroy Merlin de Balma, and Roques-sur-Garonne will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Bricomarché DIY store located in downtown Toulouse at the Reflets Compans center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
