The monarch and his heir are said to have carried out several contracts to rent parking spaces to the armed forces, the United Kingdom's public health system and schools, according to the Sunday Times and the documentary entitled The king, the prince and their secret millions released earlier this week.
Last year, the king reportedly made an agreement with the London Health Organization to store ambulances, all at a cost of $20 million over 15 years.
British media also accuse the Prince of Wales of having signed a $66 million deal to rent a prison to the Ministries of Justice and Defense.
In addition, William is said to have received millions from the military services since 2004 in order to dock warships.
“This could become Watergate for the royal family, especially for Charles and William,” royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News.
“This goes against the principles of accountability set out by the new Labor government, which has said it will crack down on companies that are not transparent about their financial affairs,” he added.
