Several stunt doubles for Ryan Gosling in The Fall Guy
In fact, Ryan Gosling, who still does a few rolls like the one in the big fall at the beginning, had not one, but four stunt doubles on this film, each one coming with its own specialty! And he wanted to put them in the spotlight when promoting the feature film. Ben Jenkins, seen (but not recognized) in Spider Man, No Way Home or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3was thus his main stunt double. Martial arts specialist Justin Eaton, for his part, took on most of Ryan Gosling's fight scenes after showing the extent of his talent in The Killerby David Fincher… Logan Holladay was responsible for the driving stunts. He notably broke the world record for the number of rollovers accomplished with a car on the set of The Fall Guywith 8.5 tonnes at the wheel of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, at 130 km/h! Another record offered by this film: that of Troy Lindsay Brown, who achieved the impressive fall of 46 meters from a helicopter. The latter then broke his own fall record!
