Winterthur achieves liberation
FC Winterthur defeated Lausanne-Sport 1-0. Basel celebrates their next big victory with a 4-1 win in Yverdon.

Important success for FC Winterthur before the national team break. The Zurich team won 1-0 at home against Lausanne-Sport and thus stopped the Vaudois team’s run. Fabian Frei scored the winning goal in the 51st minute with a sharp long-range shot. It was his first goal of the current season.
FC Basel won again big. Away against Yverdon there was a 4-1 win. Dominik Schmid (32nd minute), Benie Traore (45th), Leon Avdullahu (51st) and Kevin Carlos (60th) scored the Basel goals. Mauro Rodrigues scored the consolation goal for Yverdon in the 89th minute. With this victory, FC Basel temporarily took over the top of the table. (attach)
