After five years of absence, the Toulouse Metropolis Marathon returns in 2024. A rebirth which is materialized by a new name: Toulouse Metropole Run Experience.
And a record number of participants, with 26,000 registrations including 6,400 for the main event. Sunday, November 10, thousands of runners will set off through the city center.

From 7:30 a.m., the starts of the five races will be from Boulevard Carnot, near Jean-Jaurès. With a route of 42.195 km, the Marathon des Géants will take the famous track of the same name in the Montaudran district. Then the runners will go up the ring road, cross the left bank after the Pont des Catalans and return via Empalot and Grand Rond to the finish, at the Capitole village.

Runners will have to make arrangements to get to the starting point on the day. But for those near the route, be careful if you have to travel by car because several roads will be closed to traffic and public transport will operate on a dotted line.

All day Sunday, the Capitole and Jean Jaurès metro stations will be closed. And the tram will be interrupted between the Palais de Justice and Arènes stations.

The airport shuttle as well as the lines bus serving the city center will be diverted until approximately 4 p.m. Tisséo indicates that the “next passages” service of its application is likely to be seriously disrupted until the lines are restored.
