“You don’t have to have left Saint-Cyr to get this top 3.”

Michel Desjoyeaux, double winner of the Vendée Globe in 2000/2001 and 2008/2009, revealed to Sand Journal this Thursday, November 7 his favorites for the tenth edition of the Vendée Globe.

“My top 3, out of order, will be Charlie Dalin, Thomas Ruyant and Yoann Richomme,” reveals Michel Desjoyeaux, “it’s a logical top 3 when you follow the results other races.”

Behind this top 3, Michel Desjoyeaux also has a small list of competitors who should follow closelyor who could even shake up the battle for the podium.

“The two Sams, Sam Goodchild and Samantha Davies”, assures the double winner of the Vendée Globe, “also Boris Hermann and Jérémie Beyou can approach the podium and aim for a top 5”.

For the last winner of the 2020-2021 edition Yannick Bestaven, “it risks being maybe more complicated this time,” confides Michel Desjoyeaux.
