After a saving victory against Montpellier last weekendthe HAC hosts the Stade de Reims this Sunday at 5 p.m. for the 11th day of Ligue 1. A match which will mark the return to the Stade Océane of the always impeccably coiffed Luka Elsner, coach of Le Havre for the last two seasons, now coach of Reims. His replacement Didier Digard recognizes that the fact that the Slovenian knows the Le Havre squad perfectly is a given “to take into account”, without this being an advantage for the opponent.
“It's always the same, it's a game of chessanalyzes Didier Digard when asked if Luka Elsner has the advantage thanks to his knowledge of the Le Havre collective, essentially the same as the one he coached. He knows the players perfectly, but the players know him perfectly and so do the staff, as well as the way he prepares for matches. So it’s who wants to do what they’re used to doing or who wants to surprise.”
“I will be happy at the end of the match with a big smile and him being angry” – Gauthier Lloris
“I'd be lying if I said it didn't matteradds defender Gauthier Lloris, who participated with Luka Elsner in the adventure of the rise and maintenance in Ligue 1 of the HAC the last two seasons. He knows us by heart, we had him for two years. He will draw up a plan as he knows how to do then we also have our coach, who will draw up his own plan. It will be a great battle.”
A great battle that the Le Havre defender intends to win “I'm happy to be able to face him afterwards… I'll be even happier at the end of the match with a big smile and him making a face.”
