“WE SAW THIS IN A PAINFUL WAY IN GAZA AND LEBANON”
KADEM Board of Trustees Chairman Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar explained the details of the summit to 24 TV.
Answering the question of 24 TV reporters about the theme of the summit, “artificial intelligence and women”, Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar said, “This is a subject we are frequently asked about. In fact, it is a very important issue. Because artificial intelligence is a technology that concerns every segment of the world. We see artificial intelligence as an instrument that makes our lives easier.” However, we use it in a wide variety of fields in education, health, academia and justice. It has been seen recently that such technologies can be used negatively in the context of war in Gaza and Lebanon. “We saw it painfully,” he said.
Referring to KADEM’s work in the field of women, Bayraktar said, “Therefore, as a foundation working in the field of women, we have seen with many examples that artificial intelligence can create various advantages as well as disadvantages when it comes to justice between men and women. That is why we spent two days together with experts working in this field around the world.” “We will be seeing fruitful discussions here in these two days, together with the preliminary studies that have been initiated for a year.” he said.
