The second season of “Master Crimes” ends on TF1. But will the series led by Muriel Robin and Anne Le Nen return to the air in 2025 for a third season?
Season 2 of Master Crimes ends on TF1 this Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 9:05 p.m. Like the previous week, only one new episode will be offered to viewers. In this part, several mysterious suicides push Louise to suspect the influence of a sectarian movement…
A season 3 for “Master Crimes”?
Clues lead his team to a group of people seemingly manipulated by astrological beliefs. With a comet imminent, they must act quickly to prevent further casualties. Will our heroine and her students manage to solve this investigation?
Another question is also burning on the lips of all Master Crimes fans. Indeed, will the fiction carried by Muriel Robin and Anne Le Nen be back for a season 3? AlloCiné spoke with the collection director of the series Fabien Adda.
Without an official order for a third round of episodes from TF1 for the moment, it nevertheless told us: “I believe season 3 is already completely written. Filming would a priori take place in February-March 2025.” But then, what could happen during the next adventures of Louise and her students if this is confirmed? The main interested party reveals to us the avenues explored by the authors (but not necessarily definitive) regarding the future intrigues of Master Crimes…
“We discover everything that happened with Delaunay, Mia's father, in the last episode of season 2, how this event impacted Louise in the past and how she makes up for this mistake which represents the failure of her life. Repairing this error will also allow him to fix a large part of his psyche, I think…”
What could happen next?
“It is therefore very possible that in season 3 Louise will be quite different because she will be freed from this weight, from this trauma which inhibits her in certain places.imagines Fabien Adda. She didn't feel free knowing that she could be wrong, like with Delaunay. But now that this is settled, she risks becoming even more unbearable because she will now know that she is infallible !”
“We really wanted to launch season 3 with something very, very strong around the character of Louise, why not with a case that could involve her son in the United States, directly. This would not force her to leave but it would push her to resolve a case from France concerning a member of her family for the first time. This would allow us to see Louise's mother side appear.“, supposes the collection director of Master Crimes.
“Will this avenue finally be explored? I don't know at all… But there is really a desire on the part of the production and the authors not to confine Louise to her professional status. If something related to her family happens, she then becomes vulnerable… This could perhaps weaken her judgment or her capacity for analysis and therefore put her in danger at work, which would be interesting in terms of storytelling.”concludes Fabien Adda.
Will these potential areas of development for the story be retained? Answer in 2025, in the very probable season 3 of Master Crimes.
