Abdellatif Wehbe, Minister of Justice, accompanied by Mohamed Abdel Nabaoui, President-Delegate of the Supreme Judicial Council, and Moulay Hassan El Daki, Chief Public Prosecutor, today, Thursday in Agadir, inaugurated several judicial projects. This is within the framework of the Ministry of Justice’s ongoing efforts to develop the justice system and improve the infrastructure of judicial facilities in Morocco.
In this regard, the temporary headquarters of the Administrative Court of Appeal in Agadir was inaugurated on a total area of 3,426 square meters and at a total cost of 333,780 dirhams. The temporary headquarters of the Commercial Court of Appeal in Agadir was also inaugurated on a total area estimated at 5,667 square meters and at a cost of 1,18,404 dirhams. The inauguration also included the headquarters of the Court of First Instance and the Family Justice Department in Bucre, built on an area of 9,500 square meters at a total cost of 77 million, 567 thousand and 239 dirhams.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Justice and reached by Hespress, these new buildings combine the authentic Moroccan architectural character with modern modern design, and are equipped with modern technologies that include electronic panels that facilitate access to judicial information and files circulating in the courts. This contributes to improving the quality of judicial services and facilitating access to information for litigants and litigants.
In his speech on this occasion, the Minister of Justice stressed that these projects fall within the Ministry’s efforts to bring justice services closer to citizens within a context that reflects the great development the region is witnessing at the developmental, economic and social levels.
Wehbe pointed out that these facilities enhance the ability to meet the requirements of modern justice, which contributes to improving working conditions for judges, court clerks, and all workers in the judicial sector.
It is worth noting that this event was attended by a number of judicial officials, representatives of local authorities, territorial groups, and community events, as the occasion represented an opportunity to emphasize the pivotal role that this advanced infrastructure plays in enhancing the efficiency of the judicial system and providing high-quality services to citizens. This contributes to facilitating access to justice and enhancing confidence in judicial institutions in Morocco.
