Reach of Frozen Souls: Enshrouded's largest content update is available.
Enshrouded's fourth content update, Reach of Frozen Souls is finally available for 3 million players! The developers of Keen Games are proud to present their most important update – in terms of content and scope – to date, including several highly anticipated features:
- Added dynamic weather,
- Pets and livestock,
- Village NPCs,
- Increased EXP and crafting levels,
- New weapons and clothes,
- Plus a host of other features, content and fixes !
Launched in Early Access in January 2024, with a full launch of version 1.0 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox planned for 2025, Keen Games continues to expand the world by adding deeper gameplay, richer visuals, and refined experiences to better immerse players in the world ofEnshrouded.

The mountains win you over!
If players have not yet prepared, they should consider this their final warning, as winter has well and truly arrived. Embervale on the snow-capped peaks of to the Albanians. They will be able to venture through thick layers of snow that are both uncomfortable and incredibly fun to handle. They will be able to experience the range of dynamic elements of this crossing : deep snow will slow them down considerably, updrafts will help them glide further and higher, not to mention slippery ice plains, for better or worse. Albaneve Peaks is a frigid mountain biome with new monsters, creatures, and materials. It will be possible to complete multiple quests and discover lore and, of course, the areas of veil which are there. This winter wonderland is full of surprises ; players will need to make sure they have something warm available.
The furballs are coming to Enshrouded!
One of the most requested functions that Keen Games had the pleasure of adding to the game is ready for adoption: pets and farm animals! Enjoy the company of feathered and furry creatures, two and four legged, who will stay to graze, laze around and generally provide comfort and companionship. Of course, they can all be petted. Anything that is not aggressive can be tamed so it can be returned to base – no need to ask parental permission. In return, all they can ask for is a place to sleep and some delicious treats to make them feel at home, or even start their own little family. Farm animals will drop resources periodically as an extra thank you for providing room and board.

An avalanche of included features
Speaking of friends and thanks to the work of several million Flameborn, the power of the Flame increased and many souls returned to Embervale, populating various areas with NPCs and helping players rebuild their world. These NPCs can also be invited into bases to help craft items and complete tasks!
Dynamic weather conditions are finally making an appearance in the game world. You will need to protect yourself from the freezing cold by making appropriate outdoor clothing that will allow you to acclimatize to the new altitudes. Weather can now impact players' adventures: expect sudden temperature changes, rain, and other elements. LSurvival skills will be increased, but so will level caps.
Players can now reach level 35 in the update Reach of Frozen Soulsincluding spells, skills and other benefits. Adapted equipment can be crafted for different classes, while new materials like snow will be available to build bases or monuments that will demonstrate the player's sense of accomplishment. One thing to note: this snow will not melt when used in cold biomes.
