Regarding foreigners residing in the Kingdom, the document revealed a noticeable increase in their numbers, as the number of foreigners residing in the Kingdom reached 148,152 people, reflecting an increase of 71.86% compared to the number recorded in the 2014 census.

Details of the draft decree

The Ministry of Interior indicated that the draft decree aims to ratify the final figures that determine the population in the Kingdom, whether at the level of the national territory or at the level of regions, prefectures, regions, and groups. The decree will be presented to the Government Council for approval in its session tomorrow, Thursday.

This decree comes within the final stage of the process General population and housing census for the year 2024which concluded last month, where the final results of the census are counted and determined.
