Harry Kane’s performances in Bayern Munich’s colors have been nothing short of exceptional this season. In a recent interview, he highlighted two key reasons for his success.
Munich – After overcoming a brief goal drought, the FC Bayern star is back to finding the net almost at will. In the recent 3-0 home victory against Bundesliga rivals Union Berlin, the Englishman was once again the Man of the Match, scoring two goals and providing an assist. According to Kane, his impressive statistics stem from a combination of his own strong form and fabulous teamwork, as he shared in an interview with bundesliga.com.
Following the first 14 competitive matches of the current season, the 31-year-old boasts an incredible total of 27 points – 17 goals and 10 assists. The captain of the English national team has quickly silenced critics after a less-than-stellar European Championship performance, showcasing his skills in Munich as both a lethal finisher and a playmaking team player.

“Physically, mentally – playing in this type of team, I feel I’m at a really high level right now,” Kane expressed, pleased with his top form. However, he is cognizant that this would mean little without his teammates also delivering strong performances, a point he underscored to bundesliga.com after the victory over the Berlin side.
“Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the players around me who create the chances,” he had nothing but praise for his colleagues. Kane, like nearly all of his teammates, feels completely comfortable with Kompany’s playing system: “The team is doing great, we’re playing really good Football. Both with and without the ball, we’re making it difficult for opponents, and when you dominate a game as thoroughly as today, you get chances, and I always back myself to take a few of them.”
Bayern Munich’s strong performances are already evident in the current Bundesliga standings. If they maintain similar levels in the upcoming Champions League matches, a winning streak could be within reach, potentially securing direct qualification for the knockout stage.
