Let’s go to the Tan-Tan port redevelopment project, located in the town of El Ouatia. The start of the work was given on Monday, November 4 by Mohamed Najem Abhai, wali of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, and Mbarka Bouaïda, president of the regional council, on the occasion of the celebration of the 49th anniversary of the Green walk.
With a budget of 128 million dirhams (MDH), the operation includes a multitude of structuring developments. These include the improvement of the sanitation network, for a budget of 17 million dirhams, the strengthening of the electricity network (5 million dirhams) and the rehabilitation of roads (8 million dirhams).
The project also includes the installation of a seawater desalination station with a capacity of 17 liters per second, requiring an investment of 40 million dirhams, and a solar power plant which will supply the site with electrical energy, for a budget of 11.5 million dirhams.
Boost local development
