Arcane fever is here once again as the second and final season of the series set in the League of Legends universe is just around the corner. Naturally, Riot is going Arcane-mad in its lineup of games, and that of course includes LoL itself. Carrying on its streak of creating some intriguing, fun minigames within the MOBA, Riot has just revealed what to expect from its next experience, which puts you in a first-person perspective and lets you explore and solve puzzles as Jinx.

With Arcane Season 2 debuting later this week, Riot is keen to make sure you don’t forget about it. Its themed event spans League of Legends, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, Valorant, and even its upcoming fighting game 2XKO, which isn’t even out yet.

In LoL, specifically, there is set to be a refreshed ARAM experience, a rather controversial $250 skin, and the MOBA’s new champion Ambessa also originates from the show. There is also the promise of new “story-driven” minigames, and now we know a little about the one coming to LoL, titled Jinx Fixes Everything.

While other in-client minigames, such the recent Ornn-themed one, are mostly static point-and-click puzzle solving experiences, Jinx Fixes Everything is a little different, as you’ll actually be able to walk around and see the world from a Jinx’s-eye-view. In the description of the minigame’s new trailer it says that you’ll be able to “explore your favorite haunts in Zaun, solve puzzles, and become a big fat hero” all while playing as the iconic character.

From the brief snippets of gameplay shown in the trailer, it almost feels like a mini RPG or immersive sim – there are several puzzles to interact with, items to collect and inspect, and there’s also a Teemo-themed arcade machine. It certainly seems like the biggest and most accomplished minigame LoL has seen yet.

The Arcane-themed Jinx Fixes Everything minigame goes live in League of Legends on Tuesday, November 12. This is a few days after the first act of Arcane Season 2 hits Netflix on Saturday, November 9.

Should all this LoL and Arcane talk be wearing you out, here are some alternative multiplayer games and free PC games to try instead.
