The simulation of a hand-to-hand fight, in which a female soldier was able to knock down a much more robust colleague, impressed Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during her visit to the Defense Village.

“So, Federica has to come with me now, I'll take her with me”, joked the Prime Minister after shaking hands with the soldier (“Come on, eh”), at the end of the performance in which an attack was also simulated with a training knife, which delivers an electric shock. During the visit to the stands set up at the Circus Maximus for National Unity and Armed Forces Day, Meloni boarded a Frecce Tricolori aircraft. As she got out, she turned to the photographers who asked her to look in their direction and smiled: “Then don't say I don't love you.” The prime minister then remote-controlled a Sibcra UGV, a remote-controlled army robot used for sampling in dangerous and contaminated areas. “It's a beautiful thing – she joked with the technician who was giving her instructions -, can you give it to me?”.
