The agents of M Résothe public transport network of the agglomeration of Grenoble (Isère), have exercised their right of withdrawal. So that bus and tram traffic of the Grenoble Metropolis was interrupted on certain lines, this Tuesday, November 5.

This decision follows the threat of which he was a victim a controller from M Résothis morning around 7 o'clock.

A controller threatened with a handgun

While he was fining a user of the line 16 bus, near the Bayard stop in the town d'Échirolles (Isère), the control, information and prevention agent (Acip) was threatened from outside the vehicle by a man riding a bicycle. The latter pointed a handgun in his direction before fleeing.


The controller then warned the driver, who left the scene. A complaint will be filed by the control agent. Following this event, lines 16 and C7 were temporarily diverted to avoid the area concerned.
