An investigation was opened by the gendarmes of Doullens (Somme) and the Amiens research brigade after the suspicious death of a woman in the town of Doullens. The lifeless body of the victim was discovered in a home in the Thélu city, in the early evening of Monday November 4, 2024, reports The Picard Courier . The young woman, believed to be 19 years old, was fatally injured by a gunshot.
According to information from France Blue Picardy she was naked when help arrived. They were unable to resuscitate her. She had a gunshot wound to the head.

Two men on site when the police arrived
On site, the police discovered two firearms. Two men were present, a neighbor and the victim's companion. The latter was arrested and taken into police custody. Men from the criminal identification unit carried out the first surveys at the scene of the tragedy.
