Jan Dettwyler (46) is in love again. He shows himself on Instagram with his new girlfriend for the first time.
“I already miss summer a lot,” the musician begins his nine-part couple story series. Forgetting the summer of 2024 is “impossible”. On the next slide he continues to rave: “And here’s the reason why the summer was so beautiful,” with an arrow pointed at his girlfriend.
«I mean really beautiful… Just like in a fairy tale beautiful. This beauty that you only know when you know it. Yes, exactly, this “beautiful”… That’s what the summer of 2024 was like,” adds Seven. More photos follow that underline how much Dettwyler has enjoyed the last few months. He also makes it clear that he will be happy with his new love even in autumn.
At the end he also reveals the name of his sweetheart: Joëlle Virginie. He reposted her story. She works as a journalist at CH-Media and models. It is unclear how long the two have been together. But at the Open Air St. Gallen at the end of June they were caught gyrating in the crowd.
In 2023, Seven separated from his wife Zahra after 20 years. The two have two children. «There were times when I didn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. I didn’t even see the tunnel,” Jan once said in an interview with 20 Minutes about the time after the separation. In the meantime, he can look forward.
The ex-couple still get along well, as he emphasized at the time. “We tried everything and then admitting that it didn’t work is an achievement.” He is proud that they came to this sensible decision.
