When Zamperoni asks in conversation whether he can just call Donald Trump like that, Kid Rock spontaneously proves it by calling his friend: “Hey Bob, what’s going on?” After a short conversation in which Kid Rock talks to Trump about German TV team informed, thanked Trump for the support and described Kid Rock as a “good man”.
This scene actually shows a close personal and political connection between the two. Another detail stands out: Kid Rock saved Trump in his cell phone as “POTUS,” i.e. “President of the United States.” Whether this abbreviation comes from the last term in office or whether Kid Rock is already sure that Trump will win the race is not answered in the film.
