Sara Forestier to me des “suicidal thoughts” after his altercation on the set of Good man
In 2017, the film Good man comes out in the cinema. “I was hit by an actor on a filmI was slapped and left the film“, recalls the one who subsequently went to the police station. A very complicated period which ended up disgusting her with the environment. “We talk very little about the trauma. There is everything afterwards, where you have to rebuild yourself. So I took this time, I filed a complaint“, she says, in addition to deploring the lack of support in these moments. “We often joke about damaged women saying that they are crazy (…) Actually no, we are just damaged“, she adds before admitting that she could no longer sleep and that she had “desires for suicide”.
Sara Forestier traumatized by her bad experience: “I kept making films and pretending it was okay.”
For several years, Sara Forestier took time for herself to provide “rediscover the pleasure“on the film sets:”I really waited to find a project with people who were caring“. This is why she is on the poster for Three friends. “I did so well to wait“, she rejoices on TMC, “I came across such a caring team and this is really the way we should make cinema“Thanks to this experience, Sara Forestier found “the pleasures of the beginning” : “This film reconciled me to the sets as I continued to make films pretending that it was okay, but it wasn’t.”
