Julie Andrieu and Stéphane Delajoux: a love story marked by media storms
Today, the50 year old presenter lives a beautiful love story with Stéphane Delajouxeven if their start was not without pitfalls. I came into his life, there was this story with Johnny which was completely crazy. He operated on Johnny Hallyday and there was a big controversy. There was a big discredit that took place
shot down on him (…)”she confided. Before adding: “I never doubted, but then I realized that maybe he should have protect yourself more“.
As a reminder, after having operated on Johnny Hallyday for a herniated disc, a post-operative infection came to overshadow the success of the intervention, triggering a media storm which fell on the doctor. Julie Andrieu thus returned to this period marked by the media attention surrounding her husband and was amused by the turn of events: “My husband was asked to do Dancing with the Stars, which is quite funny because he's still downright disabledbut not to me.” And to add: “In Johnny's time, he made headlines, for the wrong reasons, but yes, indeed.”
Julie Andrieu, unvarnished about the accident of which her husband Stéphane Delajoux was the victim
In 1997, Stéphane Delajoux saw his life turned upside down during a
ski outing in Val d'Isère. An off-piste skier, he suddenly fell into a ravine, falling thirteen meters. The shock was so intense that he thought for a moment he had lost the use of his legs, seeing himself paraplegic, according to Liberation. Against all odds, he got through it, but the after-effects still accompany him: insensitivity in the legs and buttocks, unsteady gaitunable to support himself on the front of his feet. “He has a lot of trouble walking, he’s had a lot of accidents and operations.”recalled Julie Andrieu.

So, when the
production of Dancing with the stars proposed to him to join the program, irony of the situation
did not escape the host and her husband. Amused by this incongruous idea, Jordan De Luxe even said with humor: “They don't
stop at nothing“.
