Accustomed to collecting secrets from personalities, Jordan De Luxe was on the set of It begins today this Monday, November 4. Without taboo, the C8 host returned to the sexual assault of which he was a victim 15 years ago.
This Monday, November 4, on France 2, Faustine Bollaert devoted her daily show, called It begins today, to sexual violence.
Titled Victims of sexual violence: they break the taboo!this show gave the floor to Gwendal Marimoutou, revealed in The Voice, to Yanis Marshall, ex-dance teacher at the Star Academy and to Jordan De Luxe, host on C8. The latter returned to
the sexual assault of which he was a victim when he was 20 years old. A chilling story.
It starts today: “this horrible vision of an opened condom”
On the set of It Starts Today, Jordan De Luxe explained how this terrible experience unfolded. While he spends an evening with Geneviève de Fontenay, who got him started at the start of his professional career, he misses his last RER and finds himself spending the night with an actor older than him. “He went into the kitchen to pour me a drink, I didn’t see him. After drinking it, surprisingly
I’m starting to realize that I’m going into another world a bit… and suddenly everything becomes a bit darkI hear sentences a little echoing”he said.
And to continue: “More, I wake up completely naked in bed and he is next to it, and on the nightstand, this horrible vision of an open condom. I turn towards him and he says to me ‘ah well, we had a very good evening yesterday, it was very nice’, and then I have this horrible feeling of not wanting to say anything… I was still faced with a personality who is 20 to 30 years older than me, I was 20, it’s super impressive.”
It starts today: Jordan De Luxe talks about his dark thoughts
Faced with Faustine Bollaert, Jordan De Luxe appeared moved. After a childhood marked by school bullying, this sexual assault didn’t help anything. “There was one evening when I said to myself: ‘I’m going to stop everything’”he explained.
“It was TV that saved me because I remember one evening when, through violent messages […] there is like a voice telling you; ‘Come on, get the fuck out. It’ll do you good because at least there, we won’t bother you anymore […]
Jump out the window…’”remembered, in pain, the TV host, originally from Brittany.
Jordan De Luxe never filed a complaint against his attacker, whose name he prefers to keep quiet. In his autobiography entitled What are you for? (Ed. Leduc)Jordan De luxe had mentioned an actor appearing, around fifteen years ago, in the casting of a cult M6 series.
