At 25, Aël Pagny shares, through his first photographic work, a unique and moving period in the life of his father, Florent Pagny. “Dad is doing The Voice again, it’s cool, it means I’ll be able to go there and sneak everywhere,” she confides in an interview for Le Parisien Dimanche. Despite medical vigilance, with examinations every three months, the singer's latest health results, dated October 16, are reassuring: “Everything is fine, everything is in order.” This return to the show and on stage is for Florent Pagny further proof of his desire to live fully, while remaining attentive to his health.
For Aël, who grew up between Patagonia, the United States and France, her book is a testimony to her daughter's view of her father. On tour with him, she captures the energy of the spectators and the overwhelming welcome given to the singer after his treatments. “It was amazing to see the audience's reaction! It was the return to the stage after all the cancer treatments, and people didn't know what was going to happen. There was a euphoria to see that he was still present and his voice too.” The photographer remembers a shared emotion, where the public was admiring of the singer's courage.

A moving reunion with the stage
Florent Pagny's passion for music remains unchanged, as evidenced by the photos of the recording of his latest album of duets, in June 2023, where his artist friends like Pascal Obispo or Zazie joined him to support him. “He was happy to see that his voice was still there, even clearer since he stopped smoking,” she says in The Parisian Sunday. Now, between the return to The Voice and rigorous medical monitoring, Florent Pagny is enjoying his remission while remaining cautious, to ensure that this ordeal remains behind him.
