It was around 5 p.m., Saturday November 2, 2024, when a motorist called for help: he had just found himself in a ditch in the town of Castelferrus (Tarn-et-Garonne)east of Montauban, a young cyclist inanimate.

Found lifeless in a ditch

Evacuated by helicopter, between life and death

Dispatched to the scene, the firefighters and the Samu 82 team were unable to resuscitate the victim, and called on Samu 31 helicopter.

A few dozen meters from his home

According to the first elements collected by the Castelsarrasin gendarmerie company, the boy, hemiplegic, went for a bike ride, when he suffered a fall, at a few tens of meters of the family home.

We do not know, for the moment, the circumstances of the accident. If he wore a helmetthe teenager suffered from head trauma. Did he get a blow to the head? Is he the only one involved? To shed light on the matter, the investigation was entrusted to the gendarmes of the Moissac brigade community, who placed the victim's two-wheeler under seal.
