This Friday, November 1, the lanterns of the Lights of Africa were lit at the Sigean African reserve. Until the end of January, they will dazzle visitors. Remember to book, because the crowds are there!
The African Reserve ends its fiftieth anniversary in style! This Friday, the Lights of Africa were lit in Sigean and the crowd was there. Same this Saturday. And that will be the case again this Sunday. Until the end of January, everything suggests that the animal park will be a hit. And for good reason. The lanterns which will light up the evenings, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., will rightly be the talk of the town. Not to say magical, let's say that the animal paintings created by a Chinese company are magical, realistic, and sometimes intriguing.

This inaugural Friday evening, 95% of visitors to the park, which was fully booked, stayed for this stroll which lasted about an hour and to discover the light installations. The opinions were unanimous among young and old: it's great! Gabriel De Jesus, responsible in particular for communication at the Reserve, can only be delighted. More than a year of work has been rewarded by these unanimous positive opinions from French, Catalan, Italian and British visitors. It’s deserved, because we ourselves, in immersion, got our eyes and ears full of it. Because in addition to the visual, the soundscape is part of the show. Note that the lanterns are lit from Friday to Sunday only, and that you should book as early as possible online, otherwise you will miss out on a family walk at sunset.
