The Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Salaspoke again about the San Siro situation on the sidelines of an event.
Here are his statements as reported by Football & Finance:
“The evaluation from the Revenue Agency has arrived. But I can’t reveal the figure; at the moment, the offices are examining it. We have done what the clubs asked us to do: we promoted a productive meeting with the Superintendency and gave the formal mandate to the Revenue Agency at the beginning of August. Right now, we have nothing else to do.”
Sala continued, speaking about his expectations from the Milan and Inter clubs:
“If the clubs, through a formal expression of interest in San Siro and the surrounding areas, step forward, then we will continue working. I hope that Inter and Milan, having already taken significant steps forward, will express their interest. But until then, we have nothing more to do. We’ve also spent a lot of our offices’ time on this matter, which is not Milan’s primary issue for me but is certainly sensitive, drawing much public and media interest, and thus must be handled carefully.”
